‘As 16 year olds we would go to Ireland every summer to work on a farm and do mission work along the coast. Over the years we’ve become good friends with the Morrisons at Hartwell, which is the beautiful name of the farm near Dublin and the Wicklow Mountains. We decided to pay them a visit and write new songs which resulted in this folky new album’, explains Elbert, lead singer of the band.
‘We sat down with Grammy Award nominated, multiple Dove Award winning producer Ian Eskelin from Nashville on FaceTime with us, to optimise lyrics and arrangements while we were basking in the springtime sun, overlooking the meadows where lambs were racing back and forth. In the distance we could see the snowy peaks of the Wicklow Mountains. The peety smell of the land, combined with an ale to toast on our memories and our future together. It was magic!’
